Welcome to Velda Rose Estates Homeowners Association Website
Velda Rose Estates (VRE) is one of the cleanest and most desirable communities for seniors 55 years of age and older. To enhance peace and enjoyment during the "Golden Years" and to promote high value of our homes and community properties, our members are urged to sustain the standards required by federal law, state law, local law and the documents governing the Association, including the Declarations, Rules and Regulations (previously known as the CC&R's).
Clubhouses and Facilities are available to all members in good standing. There is a refundable deposit charged to ensure the facility is left clean and orderly. There is a $25.00 per hour charge for members use of facilities for parties, anniversaries, etc. for non VRE sanctioned functions. Reservations must be made with the Reservation Manager. Privileges will be suspended if the rules are not observed and the facility is not left clean. Clubhouses are not to be used for commercial purposes.
Velda Rose Newsletter is usually published nine months of the year. Submissions must be in the editor's hands by the 20th of the month. All members are urged to consult the calendar for monthly activities. We encourage any member to consider submitting articles. Our website is www.VREHOA.com. Our monthly meetings are held at the Colby Clubhouse on the second Monday of each month; however, there are no meetings during the summer months.
Trash pickup is arranged by individual homeowners. Residents must contact one of the waste disposal companies serving our area to arrange for trash pickup. Phone numbers for companies serving our area can be found on the Important Phone Numbers page on our website.
Since Velda Rose Estates is not within any city limits, emergency services are provided by Rural Metro Fire, which charges an annual subscription fee to cover that service. Their phone number is 800-624-5835 and their website is www.ruralmetrofire.com. Rural Metro provides 24 hour on-duty crews, on-duty EMT's and Paramedics, and highly trained and experienced Firefighters. Non-emergent medical air transportation, within North America, is provided by Air Med International. Dialing 911 will be responded to by Rural Metro and/or Maricopa County Sheriff. Our community is bound by Maricopa county laws and rules and can only vote in county, state and federal elections.
